Islam will rule the world. Constitution for the new Islamic Republic of USA is under construction. We will fight infidel to death. Meanwhile, American laws will protect us. Our children will immigrate from Pakistan, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Iran, and Indonesia and even from India to the US for education in full scholarship. America is paying and will continue to pay for our children’s educations and their upbringing in state funded Islamic schools. We will use your welfare system. BERLIN --The German government announced today that it has awarded the 2004 Leni Riefenstahl Award to controversial filmmaker Michael Moore. The award, named after the Nazi documentary filmmaker Leni Riefenstahl, is presented annually to the film director who "is judged by the award committee to have done the most to prevent the spread of democracy and truth through the use of film as propaganda." In his official announcement, the Award Committee Chairman Dr. Helmut Fragenschlager, the Joseph Goebbels Professor of Film and Media Studies at the Freie Universitaet Berlin, said that "the sheer scale of Michael Moore's mendacity approaches his actual girth." As Dr Fragenschlager poignantly noted, "Reichs Propaganda Minister Joseph Goebbels always said that when telling a lie it is best to tell a big lie. And we can't think of any bigger lies than those told by Michael Moore in his impressive body of cinematic propaganda art." Although Michael Moore is currently on location shooting his next film, "Benedict Arnold: All-American," his agent released the following statement: "Michael Moore is overwhelmed to have been selected as this year's recipient of the Leni Riefenstahl Award. Leni Riefenstahl was, and remains, the greatest influence on Michael Moore's career and life. Indeed, 'Bowling for Columbine' and 'Fahrenheit 9/11' are unthinkable without the ground-breaking work done by Ms. Riefenstahl in 'Triumph of the Will' and 'Olympia.' They don't even have anything to do with swift boats. There are no "gotcha" questions. They're posed in a respectful manner. In fact, many are softballs. After all, few interviewers would wish to alienate Kerry and foreclose the possibility of follow-up interviews. With that in mind, here goes: 1. The Bush campaign maintains that you spent 20 years in the Senate with no signature legislative achievements. What do you consider to be the five most important pieces of legislation that you've authored? a. What's the most important piece of legislation regarding intelligence you've authored? b. What's the most important piece of antiterrorism legislation you've authored? c. What's the most important piece of health-care legislation you've authored? d. What's the most important piece of education legislation you've authored? 2. You'd agree that on paper, Dick Cheney's experience and qualifications dwarf those of your running mate. Why would John Edwards make a better president during the war on terror than Dick Cheney? a. It's been widely reported that John McCain was your first choice as running mate. If true, why did you prefer Senator McCain to Senator Edwards? 3. Earlier this year you told Tim Russert that you'd release all of your military records, yet you've failed to do so and you refuse to release your Vietnam journal. Why shouldn't the public infer that the contents of these documents would undermine your credibility or otherwise damage your candidacy? a. When will you release the documents? 4. You've stated that you believe that life begins at conception yet you voted against the ban on partial-birth abortions. At precisely what point is a life worth protecting? a. Is there any limitation on abortion (waiting periods, parental notification) for which you'd vote? If so, what? 5. You've promised to repeal much of the Bush tax cut and while in the Senate you voted to raise taxes an average of five times per year. If current economic trends remain largely unchanged during a Kerry presidency, would you seek additional tax increases? a. How would you raise taxes and what are the highest marginal tax rates that you'd support? 6. You opposed the 1991 Gulf War even though Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction, had invaded another country, and France and Germany had supported the war. In the current conflict no WMDs have been found, France and Germany oppose the action, and Saddam hadn't invaded another country. Yet you recently stated that knowing what you know now, you'd nonetheless authorize the use of force — even though you voted against funding it. Could you please reconcile these positions? 7. You acknowledge meeting with representatives of North Vietnam and the Viet Cong in Paris in 1970. Afterward you urged Congress to accept the North Vietnamese proposals. Please explain how this wasn't a violation of the Logan Act and, if you were still in the Naval Reserves at that time, how it wasn't a violation of the Uniform Code of Military Justice prohibiting unauthorized communications with the enemy. 8. In several speeches before black audiences you've stated that a million African Americans were disenfranchised and had their votes stolen in the 2000 presidential election. There are no official or media investigations that support that statement. What evidence do you have to support the statement and if you believe a million blacks had their votes stolen, why haven't you called for criminal prosecutions and congressional investigations? 9. Do you dispute the National Journal's assessment that you're the nation's most liberal senator? If you do, which senators do you consider to be more liberal and why? 10. Why did you propose cutting the intelligence budget by $6 billion in 1994? 11. As president, would you nominate anyone to be either an attorney general, FBI director, or CIA director who had been a leader and chief spokesman for a group that had discussed and voted upon a plan to assassinate U.S. senators (even if the proposed nominee had opposed such plan)? 12. You have consistently stated that you "never, never" attended the November 1971 Kansas City meeting of the Vietnam Veterans Against the War at which a plan to assassinate six pro-military U.S. senators was discussed. Several newspapers reported that when confronted with FBI surveillance reports, your campaign "all but conceded" that you were in attendance , but claimed that this was a mere "footnote in history." a. Were you there? b. Did you discuss the assassination of U.S. senators? What did you say? c. Did you vote upon such a plan? How did you vote? Were any similar plans discussed by your group at any time? What were they? d. If the plan was voted down, what steps did you take to insure that supporters of the plan didn't carry it out anyway? e. Especially considering that this took place in an era of political assassinations and assassination attempts (Robert Kennedy, Martin Luther King Jr., George Wallace, etc.), did you report the discussion to any law-enforcement authorities? If not, why not? f. When did you resign from the organization? g. Do you dispute reports that you continued as a spokesman for the organization for more than a year after the Kansas City meeting? h. If this was a mere footnote in history why have you repeatedly and vehemently denied you were there? i. Did your campaign, as alleged in several newspaper accounts, attempt to get a witness to change his story about your attendance? 13. You have criticized the Patriot Act. What portions would you repeal or amend and why? What evidence do you have of any abuses of the Patriot Act? 14. As president, what would you do about Iran's emerging nuclear capability? 15. During your eight-year tenure on the Senate Intelligence Committee you missed more than thee fourths of all public meetings. It's also been reported that you have skipped or delayed receiving intelligence briefings during the campaign. Why should the public believe that you're serious about this issue? 16. What do you think is appropriate punishment for guards (and their superiors) found guilty of prisoner abuse at Abu Ghraib? Do you believe they should be stripped of command and receive dishonorable discharges and prison time? 17. On May 6, 2001, on Meet the Press, you stated that you had committed "the same kind of atrocities as thousands of other soldiers" in violation of the Geneva Convention. Specifically, you said you burned villages and "used 50-calibre machine guns, which [you] were granted and ordered to use, which were our only weapon against people." a. Who ordered you to use 50-caliber machine guns on people? b. How many people did you shoot with the 50s and how many of them were killed or wounded? c. When and where did these shootings occur? d. What other atrocities did you commit and when? e. Which village(s) did you burn down and when? f. Were any of your crewmembers present during the commission of any of these atrocities? g. Did you order them to participate in the atrocities? Did they follow your orders? h. Why were there no reports of these atrocities? Did you order your crew not to report them? i. Are any of these incidents described in your Vietnam journal? If not, why not? j. Did you observe thousands of (or any) other troops committing atrocities? When, where and what kind? Did you report them? If not, why not? k. In light of your admitted atrocities, if Abu Ghraib guards found guilty of abuse should receive prison time and be stripped of command, why do you believe you should be considered for commander-in-chief? 18. Who among the justices currently sitting on the Supreme Court would be a model for your nominees to the federal bench? Why? 19. In a speech before Drake University Law School you characterized U.S. allies in the war in Iraq as "some trumped-up so-called Coalition of the bribed, the coerced, the bought and the extorted,..." Do you maintain that Great Britain has been bribed, coerced, bought, or extorted? What about Italy? Japan? Poland? Please specifically identify those members of the Coalition that have been either bribed, coerced, bought, and extorted and the officials who were bribed or bought. 20. You told George Stephanopoulos that you had a plan to get out of Iraq but refused to provide details. Would you consent to having your secret plan privately evaluated by an independent, bi-partisan panel of military experts who could report the plan's merits to the electorate without divulging the details? a. Would you also consent to privately revealing to an independent panel the names of the foreign leaders who secretly support you so that the panel can confirm your story to the electorate? b. Secret FBI Documents Reveal Kerry Accepted Laundered Contributions Senator Also May Have Set Up Meetings Between Chinese Firms, U.S. Officials Aug 25, 2004 (WASHINGTON, D.C.) Judicial Watch, the public interest group that investigates and prosecutes government corruption, today released recently declassified documents showing that Democratic presidential nominee Sen. John Kerry accepted laundered contributions for his 1996 re-election campaign from the Communist Chinese government and that, in exchange, he may have arranged meetings between Chinese aerospace executives and U.S. government officials. Obtained from the FBI through Freedom of Information Act and Privacy Act requests, the documents are related to the FBI’s “Chinagate” investigation into the Clinton campaign’s acceptance of contributions from Communist Chinese government sources. Among the documents released is an investigative outline dated March 27, 1998, that details the FBI’s “proposed areas of inquiry” into the actions of Democratic fund-raiser Johnny Chung, including questioning him about meetings Sen. Kerry set up with China Aerospace executives and about a fund-raising event for the senator in Los Angeles. The other document, dated Aug. 24, 1998, requests a polygraph of Chung, mentioning that he laundered contributions for the Clinton/Gore ’96 election campaign and for Sen. Kerry. The documents are heavily redacted, and Judicial Watch is appealing the FBI’s decision to keep secret portions of the documents. Chung pled guilty in March 1998 to election law violations and, in a plea bargain, began cooperating with the FBI. Judicial Watch represents Chung in a lawsuit against Justice Department officials who, during the Clinton administration, leaked information about Chung’s cooperation with the department’s Campaign Finance Task Force. The unauthorized and illegal release from a sealed plea agreement of information, including the fact that he and his family were in protective custody in California, put the lives of Chung and his family in jeopardy. “These disturbing FBI documents raise further questions about Sen. Kerry’s involvement in what looks like a quid pro quo (cash for meetings) with the Communist Chinese,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. 'Sorcerer' Kills 10, Sells Bodies for Cremation Thu Aug 26, 9:11 AM ET BEIJING (Reuters) - Chinese police have detained a "sorcerer" who killed 10 people and sold their bodies to bereaved families to cremate in the place of loved ones who were secretly buried, police and a state-run newspaper reported Thursday. The 34-year-old man, surnamed Lin, strangled or poisoned the 10 villagers at his home, next to a temple, in the southern province of Guangdong, the Beijing Morning Post said. Chinese tradition, especially in rural villages, holds that burial brings peace to the dead and tombs are placed according to the laws of geomancy. But in a country of 1.3 billion people, the seemingly haphazard siting of graves wastes scarce farmland. Since 1978, when China launched its reform drive, all levels of government have recommended cremation to save land. "This region cremates its dead, but local people prefer to be buried in the ground. People bought the bodies to be cremated in place of their relatives," a police official told Reuters Thursday. Lin, whom the newspaper called a sorcerer locals consulted to communicate with spirits, sold the bodies for 1,000 to 8,000 yuan ($120 to $966) each, the newspaper quoted local police as saying. OK, enough of the Kerry meltdown for now (It's not even sporting at this stage...) Just ran across this, and felt an immediate chill. International Election Monitoring Group Headed By Impeached U.S. Judge; Group Warns of Election Catastrophe August 25, 2004 Washington, D.C.- The American Policy Center charged on Wednesday that the U.S. State Department has invited scandal, fraud, and corruption to the American electoral process with its decision to bring in foreign election observers from the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) to monitor the November presidential election. APC has discovered that the president of the OSCE election monitoring arm is none other than Florida Representative and disgraced federal judge, Alcee Hastings. He was elected President of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly on July 9 of this year. According to its website: "The OSCE Parliamentary Assembly's role [in the election monitoring process] is to deploy parliamentarians, primarily as short-term observers, and to provide political leadership to the OSCE monitoring operation." In other words, Alcee Hastings is at the top of the OSCE's election monitoring operation. Holy recounts, Batman! In 1988, The U.S. House of Representatives voted almost unanimously (413-3) to approve 17 articles of impeachment amounting to "high crimes and misdemeanors" against Hastings, who at the time was a federal judge. While sitting on the federal bench, an FBI bribery sting caught Hastings conspiring to obtain a $150,000 bribe in exchange for granting leniency to a pair of convicted racketeers. The Senate convicted Hastings of perjury and conspiracy to take a bribe. He is one of only a handful of judges ever to be impeached in the history of the U.S. Waitaminnit! A Florida Democrat??? Hastings is by no means an innocent bystander in the upcoming presidential election. Hastings is a House Democrat who represents Broward County, Florida-ground zero of the Election 2000 re-count fiasco. On June 14 of this year, the disgraced former judge declared to the Associated Press: "Any way we cut it, these people [the Bush Administration] are going to try and steal this election." Now Hastings, as president of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, is in position to seriously affect the outcome of the 2004 vote. The hits just keep on a comin'... Unfit For Command Indeed Why The Swift Boat Veterans Controversy Now Matters By Rob Tong Thursday 26th of August 2004 12:34 PM MST Until recently, I regarded the Swift Boat Veterans book and ad campaign with indifference generally reserved for Justin Timberflake's latest album. Kerry's constant touting of his Vietnam medals and the Swift Boat Veterans campaign seemed to be a he-said/they-said deal, and since I wasn't there, I have no way to know who was telling the truth. Furthermore, whether Kerry was a war hero or not made no difference to me regarding his views on future policy, such as his vigorous defense of abortions and his openness to same-sex marriages. This type of let's-stick-to-the-issues sentiment was expressed by Sen. John McCain yesterday. Therefore, as anti-Kerry as I am, I stayed away from the controversy, as it meant nothing to me. But then I started to notice something. Several of the Swift Boat Veterans claims have proved accurate. But that's not what's important here. What's important is that in the process of verifying the validity of the Swift Boat Veterans claims, we are discovering an untrustworthiness about Kerry. It gets so much better... For example, the Swift Boat Veterans argued that Kerry's claim of being in Cambodia on Christmas Eve 1968 was fictitious. Kerry has made this claim for at least 25 years and declared it to be so unforgettable, he testified to the Senate in 1986 that the memory "is seared--seared--in me." But two weeks ago, the Kerry campaign admitted the Swift Boat Veterans were right. Kerry campaign advisor Jeh Johnson told Fox News' Fox and Friends: "My understanding is that he is not certain about that date." Uh-huh. Seared, I tell ya! One conclusion comes to mind when you start digging into these allegations: Kerry has either contradicted himself or admitted some of his grand stories are fairy tales. Yet he was, until Unfit For Command was released, using these lies and legends to promote himself as a war hero who is a better commander-in-chief than Bush. Now, I wouldn't trust him with my comic book collection, much less with my confidence as the leader of this nation. Wow! That's going to leave a mark. tl |

Kerry, in 1971, Admitted Writing Combat Reports By Marc Morano CNSNews.com Senior Staff Writer August 26, 2004 (CNSNews.com) - Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry's 1971 testimony to the Senate Foreign Relations Committee reveals that the then anti-war activist admitted to writing many of the battle reports during his four months of combat in Vietnam. Kerry told the committee on April 22, 1971, "...I can recall often sending in the spot reports which we made after each mission..." Kerry also said that many in the military had "a tendency to report what they want to report and see what they want to see." "What is significant about this is [Kerry] is readily admitting that he often submitted reports and he is implying that he himself exaggerated in those reports," Burkett told CNSNews.com. "We have no way of knowing specifically which documents Kerry composed; and of the the ones he did compose -- did he in fact exaggerate or outright lie in those reports? That is the issue here," Burkett said. The controversy about who authored the now controversial after-action reports arose earlier this week, when the Washington Post obtained the military records of Larry Thurlow, one of the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth. Thurlow's military records indicated that enemy fire erupted after Kerry's boat was hit by a mine explosion on March 13, 1969. Thurlow now insists there was no enemy fire that day. The best selling new book by John O'Neill and Jerome Corsi, Unfit for Command: Swift Boat Veterans Speak Out Against John Kerry, details the groups' critique of Kerry. Kerry has denounced the book and the Swift Boat vets and accused them of being an affiliate of President Bush's re-election campaign. Thurlow's own Bronze Star citation states that there was "enemy small arms and automatic weapons fire" directed at "all units." But Thurlow believes his citation was based on Kerry's own account of the day. "I am convinced that the language used in my citation ... was language taken directly from John Kerry's report," Thurlow said earlier this week. By Byron York EDITOR'S NOTE: The still-escalating fight over the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth and their criticisms of John Kerry's Vietnam War record has led to new Democratic attacks on George W. Bush and his service in the Texas Air National Guard. "George Bush used his father to get into the National Guard, was grounded and then went missing," says an ad produced by MoveOn.org's political action committee. Democrats made similar attacks earlier this year. In April, Kerry referred to Bush as a president who "can't even answer whether or not he showed up for duty in the National Guard," and who "has yet to explain to America whether or not, and tell the truth, about whether he showed up for duty." In February, Kerry said he wanted answers about Bush's service in Alabama, saying "Just because you get an honorable discharge does not, in fact, answer that question." Lost amid all the charges are the facts about Bush's time in the Guard. When did he serve? What did he do? Did he fulfill his responsibilities? Was he in Alabama? In the March 8, 2004, issue of National Review, Byron York investigated and found the answers. Ask retired Brig. Gen. William Turnipseed whether the press has accurately reported what he said about George W. Bush, and you'll get an earful. "No, I don't think they have," he begins. Turnipseed, the former head of the 187th Tactical Reconnaissance Group of the Alabama Air National Guard, was widely quoted as saying he never saw Bush in Alabama in 1972, and if the future president had been there, he would remember. In fact, Turnipseed says, he doesn't recall whether Bush was there or not; the young flier, then a complete unknown in Alabama, was never part of the 900-man 187th, so Turnipseed wouldn't have had much reason to notice him. But most reporters haven't been interested in Turnipseed's best recollection. "They don't understand the Guard, they don't want to understand the Guard, and they hate Bush," he says. "So when I say, 'There's a good possibility that Bush showed up,' why would they put that in their articles?" Certified to fly the F-102 fighter plane, Bush then began a period of frequent — usually weekly — flying. The F-102 was designed to shoot down other fighter planes, and the missions Bush flew were training flights, mostly over the Gulf of Mexico and often at night, in which pilots took turns being the predator and the prey."If you're going to practice how to shoot down another airplane, then you have to have another airplane up there to work on," recalls retired Col. William Campenni, who flew with Bush in 1970 and 1971. "He'd be the target for the first half of the mission, and then we'd switch." On the other hand, showing up for drills was still meeting one's responsibility to the Guard. And, as 1973 went along, the evidence suggests that Bush stepped up his work to make up for the time he had missed earlier. In April of that year, he received credit for two days; in May, he received credit for 14 days; in June, five days; and in July, 19 days. That was the last service Bush performed in the Guard. Later that year, he asked for and received permission to leave the Guard early so he could attend Harvard Business School. He was given an honorable discharge after serving five years, four months, and five days of his original six-year commitment. The records indicate that, despite his move to Alabama, Bush met his obligation to the Guard in the 1972-73 year. At that time, Guardsmen were awarded points based on the days they reported for duty each year. They were given 15 points just for being in the Guard, and were then required to accumulate a total of 50 points to satisfy the annual requirement. In his first four years of service, Bush piled up lots of points; he earned 253 points in his first year, 340 in his second, 137 in his third, and 112 in his fourth. For the year from May 1972 to May 1973, records show Bush earned 56 points, a much smaller total, but more than the minimum requirement (his service was measured on a May-to-May basis because he first joined the Guard in that month in 1968). Bush then racked up another 56 points in June and July of 1973, which met the minimum requirement for the 1973-74 year, which was Bush's last year of service. Together, the record "clearly shows that First Lieutenant George W. Bush has satisfactory years for both '72-'73 and '73-'74, which proves that he completed his military obligation in a satisfactory manner," says retired Lt. Col.
